V10 in my C10 please

Anyone watch "rides" on TLC last night? I know this is a chevy truck board, but watching the 80 year-old Shelby smoke the tires on the re-born monster vehicle is worth seeing again, and again, and again.

That aluminum V10 would be a great mod in any of our trucks, EH?

Just dreaming!

it's not just any old Ford ... it was the re-incarnation of the orginal Cobra, which in my opinion was only a Ford because it had a Ford drivetrain, nothing else about that car was Ford. It was ALL Carol Shelby.

Yes, it is a FORD...but it is a Ford I'd drool over before getting anywhere near a Chevette, Citation or Celebrity!

sactoC10, I gotta a buddy with a V10 for sale. It came out of a wrecked Dodge truck. It needs some work though.

Hey now....I have a Chevette that has beaten Vipers and Cobra replicas in the 1/4 mile. Notice I didn't say it beat them in looks, handling or braking....lol I guess it helped that I threw the orginal Chevette drivetrain away huh?

Talking

let's see a picture of that wanna-be corvette...chevette! I guess that's a good way to ask the babes..."wanna go for a ride in my vette?"

And yes, that was a very well put together show. Did you see the very beginning with that flash of a silver (I think) pickup screaming to the left of the screen? Was that an old Chevy?

Still hope to be doing burnouts and donuts when I'm 80 years old like C. Shelby! I couldn't believe that.

No, that isn't mine. Mine is Porsche Red. It is pretty much hibernating since I have been working on my latest K20.
