Wiper switch and knob without washer
Did they make a wiper switch for a 64-66 without the washer option? I'm not installing a washer on my truck and think I can just cut off the push button but did they make a knob without the hole in the center?

Re: Wiper switch and knob without washer
Single speed wipers without a washer were standard equipment in 64 & 65. Two speed wipers with a washer were optional in those years and became standard for 66.
I can't say for sure, but I think the single speed / no washer knob (which doesn't have a hole in it) would fit onto the 2-speed switch if you cut off the washer button. |

Re: Wiper switch and knob without washer
But good luck finding a single speed knob. My truck has one, it's a little beat up and I would have preferred to replace it. But I could not find a source for a replacement, either in the plain black plastic of the standard trim, or in the black and silver deluxe version.

You can see the all-black one in this pic. This is after I gently polished it.

Re: Wiper switch and knob without washer
The above is what mine looks like. I didn't know there was a wiper option. Interesting.
