70c10 SWB 2 piece driveshaft with 4L60e
I have a 70 c10 swb 2wd with a 5.3 LS and a 4L60e transmission with a one piece driveshaft on it now. I had air ride installed. I want to go back to a 2 piece driveshaft so the truck can lay frame. I was just wondering if anyone has a 2 piece shaft with the same set up and if you do, do you have the measurements. I know I can measure it myself but I wanted to check first and see if someone has already done it so I can avoid doing it. Thank you guys

Re: 70c10 SWB 2 piece driveshaft with 4L60e
I have a two piece driveshaft that I had installed with a SBC and a 700R4. I believe the 700R4 and 4L60E are the same size. I don't know how the LS influences the positioning of the transmission versus a SBC though.

Thanks for responding. Is your truck a short or long bed? If it’s a short bed, do you have the measurements for the driveshaft? From front to center bearing, center to end and full length?

It's for a short bed. I posted some photos of it with a tape measure stretched out next to it here:

I too run a 700R4 with a SBC and the 2-piece driveshaft. Mines a long bed though
