Front fender seals

Does anyone know of any source for the metal brackets or entire assembly of the front fender seals used on AC trucks? I attached a pic of what I'm talking about. Thanks

Re: Front fender seals

I don't know if you can get the complete set, but you can get the rubber at various vendors, and use your metal pieces.

Re: Front fender seals

there was quite a discussion about this not long ago.i don't know of anybody that sells the metal parts, although i certainly could be mis-informed?i bought new rubber seals from Bill's Truck Shop in Courtice,Ontario and re-used my brackets.the new seals felt like sponge rubber sort of and the originals were like a combination of rubber, ashpalt shingle and tar paper kind of.the new ones worked ok but didn't come with staples so i had to make my own.as mentioned, lots of places sell them, not sure that you'll find the metal bracketry

Re: Front fender seals

Those seals have nothing to do with AC. They were used on Cheyenne Supers and maybe Cheyennes for I believe just 71 and 72. And of course the GMC equivalent.

Re: Front fender seals

Do these seals stop some of the air noise inside the cab while driving down the road? Is that their main purpose? Have a good one eh!

Re: Front fender seals

Didn't they come with the CST option? I vaguely recall seeing that info somewhere.

Re: Front fender seals

My non air 69 CST came with them. I at some time later added the factory air.
