I'm running a MSD pro-billet HEI and it's perfect for me. If you want to buy a seperate coil and ignition box then go for it! The MSD HEI will handle engine speeds under 7k rpm. My opinion is KEEP IT SIMPLE.

The pro billet is meant to be run with a external coil. The pro billet hei is just that, it's like a regular hei with the coil in the cap. Nothing else is needed. If you are going with a blaster 2 coil and 6AL, the pro billet is the one you want.
When you buy the Blaster 2 coil, go with the chrome #8200.
