1972 Chevy and GMC Bed Interchangability

Hello,

In my quest to find a replacement bed for my rusted and bent 1972 Long Bed Chevy K20, I've found a 1972 GMC long bed that im considering using. Are there any major differences between the two truck beds?

Thanks!

Thats what I love to hear! I'm picking it this week so itll be a major mile stone for the project. Funny how a one year project turns into 10 years later.

Glad to be here! Long time listener, first time caller.

Just a little west of you. I have had several of these c10s still learning. I have my last one under construction now 70 GMC. I think 13 years still haven't driven it but famous last words this year for sure! I know a few places where guys have parts squirreled away locally might be able to help. You're in the right spot for good info these guys are awesome. Give me a shout if you need something.
