Ticking sound coming from rebuilt P/S Pump

Morning all,

I just had my power steering pump rebuilt when i had the Saginaw gearbox rebuilt (less than 6 months back) and it was running perfect, but last week I noticed it had a ticking/tapping sound with she is running, I also noticed that if I turned the steering wheel and the system was being used the sound went away. I did this multiples times to make sure I was not imagining them. Would anyone know what might cause this? Any ideas?

Thanks
Jake
