Bed question
GOOD MORNING FOLKS
Has anyone used plywood and, or different metal strips to renew the bed of the truck(69) stepside longbed I found 10 foot heavy duty plywood that I think might work unless I'm told otherwise. Thank you for your answers. |

Re: Bed question
Does it have an 'x' in the identification, like 'ACX' plywood? If not, I wouldn't use it, as the glue would not be water resistant.

Re: Bed question
I'm thinking of this as well. Is there any reason not to consider cutting the planks to twice as wide and just reducing the number of metal strips? Would it look too strange?

Re: Bed question
My 64 used marine grade plywood. no strips,as just needed a floor so things would stay in there. 10 years later it still fine according to the current owner.
