Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
I purchased 2 NOS Cruise Controls a number of years ago. The components were like new including the rubber hose. I finally got it installed. I forgot how primitive these are compared to cruise controls of today. But it does work. Much more enjoyable driving with the cruise set.

Re: Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
That's really cool. Did the NOS kit have instructions, or did you have to figure it out?

Re: Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
I bought two (in case something was missing from one) NOS Sears Cruise Control kits a while back ... but the answer is yes.

Re: Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
My Dad put that on every car he had in the 70’s, even his Corvette. I remember those setups well.

Re: Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
My first car was a 67 Bel Air. I put one of those units on it. It worked, awesomely!!!
Don't know what I did with it, when I parted out the car??? Wish I still had it... |

Re: Early 70’s Sears Cruise Control Installed
The one thing I notice is the 2-3 second delay for the cruise to kick in but … it makes it nice for driving
