1951 GMC 250 1 Ton 5 Window Cab and Chassis
SOLD — I have for sale a 1951 GMC 250 1 ton 5 window cab and chassis.
a) I made a new fuel line from front to rear and replaced the fuel pump. Also, the Zenith carb was rebuilt and installed a glass fuel filter. b) I did a complete tune-up…plugs, wires, points, condenser, cap and rotor. The engine was never frozen. After squirting some ATF in the cylinders and turning it over, then installing the spark plugs, the engine fired right up. It ran well with no unusual noises. It does not currently run because the fuel tank was uninstalled when the cab corners were being replaced and not yet reinstalled. Add fuel and put in a battery and it will fire right up. c) The cab corners were replaced. d) The frame and differential was sandblasted and sprayed with POR-15. I have the driver’s door window and the grille. The engine is the original 228 and the transmission has PTO. Clear title. $3,500.00 Last edited by MRD; 06-16-2024 at 09:12 PM. Reason: It was sold. |
