wheel swap question
Kinda thinking out loud. I have a '69 C20 (8 hole wheels). If I were to put disc brakes on the front do you reckon that '74 wheels would fit properly?

The 3/4-1 ton wheel pattern didn't change until 2011 for the GM trucks

One option I took was to go with 16x7 ford accuride wheels. Opens up a much better selection of tires.

Thanks for the replies. I should have been a little clearer. I know the holes will line up. I'm concerned about any interference between the wheel and disc brakes. Again, thanks.

No issues with disc brakes on the Ford accuride wheels I run, and they originally came from an early 90s 3/4 4x4 with disks. I looked long and hard for an aftermarket wheel, and I could not find a newer 8 lug wheel that looked decent (to me). I do like some of the old slotted mag wheels, but very tough to find.

I have to go along with Chevmn in that you want 16 inch wheels rather than 16.5.
Decent 16.5 tires are getting hard to find and expensive when you find them.

Yup, they're 16". The stock rims are 16.5 and I agree, tires are hard to find.
