Suburban Barn Doors Leaking
The barn door seals on my suburban are leaking right at the top where the two doors come together. The old seals were so deteriorated that I just replaced them with new ones, but the new ones leak. Any tips/tricks to get them not to leak?

Re: Suburban Barn Doors Leaking
What brand seals did you use? If it was something from LMC, they tend to be poor quality. Precision brand now offers the barn door seals and I just installed a set on my wife's 89 and they fit very well.

Re: Suburban Barn Doors Leaking
I used LMC unfortunately, but I realized the other day that the seals are so stiff that I wasn't shutting the door all the way. When I hulk-smash them shut, they don't leak. Hoping they will "break in" over time and the doors will be easier to shut. In the mean time, I'm on the hunt for NOS door seals. I found a passenger side door seal, so I just need to find a drivers side seal to complete the set.
