Yep, living it through my youngest daughter, the Camp Fire also. She's ok but a little gun shy from the Camp. Your stats are way off though as of this morning. Arsonist has been arrested--shocking that he has a long standing criminal record. Shouldn't have been out with the prior felonies. He's going to be arraigned tomorrow

I don't understand how/why people like him are allowed to be breathing air that someone else can use, he is already a two striker with one of his felonies involving a child under 14 years old. our justice system allows people like this to ruin innocent peoples lives.

Agreed 100%, Jerry. I don't have words to describe what I think of people like him, or of a system that allows them to even exist. And if I did have those words, it would not be appropriate to post them here.

I agree shouldn't be breathing or out of prison either. But I won't mention some peoples choice at the polls. Heading back to my corner.

I just called a buddy of mine that recently moved up to Paradise since i'd heard they were evacuating again, he said they were on an evacuation warning but it looked like the fire was going north and had jumped hwy 36. I've deer hunted in the paynes creek/mineral area and i guess the fire got that area too. Really sucks for all involved. Hope they execute the worthless SOB that started it.

It was so smokey here today you could not see more than 200 yds. Winds out of the NW, no clue which fire its from. Then it rained a long steady rain with no thunder. Very unusual for the High Desert. Clear and smells increadable of juniper and sage now.
