Wiring my horns with AAW .they didnt provide a connection for these horns. 12V horns worked before but were anemic. AAW wiring diagram doesnt show much. How do I wire them and where can I get 2 plugs for the horns? Would it be easier to just buy a set of horns that have a 2 wire (power and ground) . The AAW kit comes with flat blade connectors I could use

-horns need to be operated through a relay because they have a draw larger than the contact on the horn button can normally handle
-power to a 2 wire horn connects to one of those terminals on the connector and the other connector terminal goes to ground
-horn wiring usually has a "hot at all times" power supply
-horn wiring usually wires the relay so that the horn contact is a switch to ground and that ground connection makes the circuit to operate the relay. the power to the relay is not switched but is fused
-connectors for a horn, like the pic shows, can be had from online suppliers like connector experts, amazon, etc or simply get a connector from a donor vehicle and some terminal crimp on parts suitable for that terminal from a local electronics supply vendor
-if those horns are anemic and you don't really care for them then I suggest to find a set you like before doing the wiring
-ensure the mounting panel for the horns, often the rad support, is also grounded well or ensure the mount for the grounds has it's own ground wire to the truck frame. often the headlights, horn, turn signals are grounded to the rad support but the rad support relies on body panels touching each other to supply a ground from the cab. the panels are usually painted so a good metal to metal contact is tough to achieve. then the cab is usually grounded from the battery directly or a seperate ground wire from the engine or truck frame. this makes for several connections before the items grounded on the rad support actually get a ground. i usually suggest to install an appropriately sized ground wire to the rad support or run seperate ground wires to the truck frame for each item or group of items on the rad support. same for the rear of the truck for lighting etc

Yeah I just bought a new set for $20 rather than source to plugs. The AAW has a built in horn relay so it just a matter of running the wire and the grounding them. Good tip on grounding the core support. I have a couple braided lines laying around so I'll use one.
