1972 Marker and running lights
I have a 1972 C30, when I turn on the first pull of the marker lights, the front side and bumper lights does not light up. It has a flat bed so no rear marker light. My headlights work, rear taillights, brake lights, and hazard lights work. When I turn on the blinker the front marker light flashes.
I owned a 69 in the past and the marker lights didn't flash. What would cause this problem? |

Burned out fuse in the fuse panel, or bad parking light bulbs in the bumper are the top suspects.

Re: 1972 Marker and running lights
Sounds like a 1967. [They had no Side Marker Reflectors.] The Turn Signal Lights worked L & R to signal turns. Hazards blinked all around. On first click, They came on as Parking Lights.
Second click, the Headlights came on but the front yellow lights went out. [Except for indicating turns] A PO may have used a 1967 Model Year Headlight Switch. In '68 the Side Marker Reflectors were installed, but had no lights. The Running lights stayed on with the headlights. '69 I think, they were optionally lighted. IDKFS. By '71 all the Marker lights were on, and the fronts alternated blinks with the front side lamps. Red rear markers don't blink.
