Repops Firewall Cover

I received the Repops Automotive Restoration firewall covers yesterday. I still intend to put down an underlayment but this question is on the RePops product. It is much thinner than the factory parts. The cardboard looks to match perfectly and has all the embossed cutouts. The factory part has a layer of rather stiff material, then a final layer of jute. The Repops cover does not have that middle layer. That second layer stiffens and gives the factory cover a much firmer feel and would seem to hold up better than this reproduction.
Is there a reproduction of the cover that is closer to the factory with the thicker backing under the cardboard?

Re: Repops Firewall Cover

Photo 1 on edge both the old and new. The new part you can see it is cardboard with jute, old part is thicker and has cardboard, a backer and then the jute.
Photo two give a little better shot of the 3 layers
