Hypothetical: Anyone convert a crew cab long bed to standard cab long bed?
I recently acquired a K30 3+3 dually long bed. The cab rust isn't absolutely horrible but needs a lot of work. I have a 100% restored rust free single cab sitting in my garage.
What would it take to plop the single cab on? Anyone done it? Curious if there are any build threads or anything. I like the idea of a 3+3 but also not a fan of all the rust repair i'd have to do. I'm guessing my options would either be cut out the extended cab portion of the frame and weld it back together or extend a long box to a SUPER long box. Thoughts?

crewcab k30 is worth much more money. sell it and buy a single cab frame for your cab.
