That thing is awesome.

I meet a guy who built his own fiberglass bodied hotrod. This was 25 or 30 years ago when they were $15K for a just a body. All in he was about $8000-$10,000.

It looked like a stylelized Model A with a track nose. He built a mold out of wood forms, foam, and clay. Then hand laid fiberglass over it.

He said that was something like that was the easy part. Building the frame, and getting everything to work was the hard part.
