2 Hydroboost Questions

The plate I have allows for the Hydrobooster to to be mounted to the fire wall in this or flip the plate and rotate the booster 180 degress placing the hoses on the bottom. Is there a needed position, or can the booster be clocked either position?
In the two photos there is a hole with what I am guessing is a pressure valve of some sort. The larger hole is obviously for the Master, but the smaller hole is unprotected from dirt. Is there supposed to be a dust cover cap on this hole?

It can be run in either position.
I have mine flipped to get me more room between the valve cover and the hydroboost.

Good. That was my idea as well.
How about that upper machined hole? Does it need a cover or plug of some sort?

One thing to keep in mind about flipping it. The notch at the bottom of the picture above where the master bolts up serves to allow power steering fluid or brake fluid to drain in the even of a leak. I had a 3/4 ton suburban that had a seal fail in the booster and the only way I knew there was an issue was from it weeping there. I’d guess it will still show its self in the even of a leak if it was mounted upside down but truthfully I have no experience with it upside down. As for the upper hole I don’t think there is anything that goes there, but it’s been several years since I did the swap on my K20.

I was wondering about that relief looking at the picture. I think I will put a small channel in the mounting plate to allow leaking fluid to drip past the mated surface of the plate and booster. I'll plug the original hole with some gasket seal to keep water and dirt from dropping in from top.
