Glass setting tape recommendations?

Anyone had good results with any particular tape to set the door glass into? i have seen some that have cork as part of it and some that are just butyl I guess.

I don't know what my local glass shop used, but the vent windows and side windows that I had them re-set haven't budged a bit since then

fixing to try the tape classic parts of america sells for vents but my glass shop said to use black silicone so I did that on my 58 and it came out perfect on door and vents but if you ever wanted that glass out again I bet it would be nearly impossible to remove

I used the glass setting tape from Classic Parts and it worked fine.

We carry the OE style glass setting tape in 3 thickness's
Part # 20077682 Glass Setting Tape
Professional weatherstrip glass setting tape. This is the material for installing vent window glass into metal frame and for installing door glass into the lower door sash metal channel that it rides on. This kit includes 2- 30" pieces that are 1" wide. Available in 3 different thickness, 1/16", 3/64", or 3/32" thick. Select thickness desired after adding to cart.
