Question about speaker bracket location bolt up
I have run wiring both sides behind the seat in my truck to the corners ,,and want to know if any of you have used the corner (speaker brackets) for 6 x 9 speakers ?
If so how does the brackets connect to what ever they are suposed to in the corners..My corners are wide open and built that way from factory with no screw holes for the speaker brackets . I put in a better search word and found what I think I need to know about my question ,,if anyone has advice please feel share

Re: Question about speaker bracket location bolt up
i've used the brackets offered over on the Parts page multiple times both in 67-72 trucks as well as squarebody trucks, held in place with 2 sheet metal screws.

Re: Question about speaker bracket location bolt up
I had to drill holes for the OEM brackets that fit 4x10s.
Double check fitment of the speaker magnets before drilling. Aftermarket magnets tend to be larger then the OEM magnets. Be prepared to either adjust metal via a hammer or use spacing washers. |
