Could I wire heater blower motor switch to fuse box using unfused spade on fuse box?
On my 68 C10 I dont have a brown power wire from the heater blower motor switch on the dash that leads to the fuse box. My C10 is a factory heater only truck.
I plan to make my own power wire and plug it into the fuse box at the terminal that is labeled IGNITION UNFUSED. I figure that I will add an inline fuse the same as what the heater fuse is. Will this work without causing problems? I already installed a new blower motor harness which connects the blower switch at the dash to the blower motor resistor and to the blower motor. |

Yes you could. My Burban was wired that way when I got it.

As long as you do it the way you describe, with an appropriately rated inline fuse.

Awesome! Thanks guys. I wasnt sure how difficult it would be to remove the fuse box and run it from behind the box but this way would seem to be just as good.
