"Lock Jaw" 1979 stepside

I picked this truck up in May 2022, traded my 1977 GMC Jimmy for it.

It definitely needs work and I did some along the way then it just sat for the last year at least

not sure what these two indicator lights are in the dash, I cant make out what they say

hence the lock jaw name

350/350/203

Re: "Lock Jaw" 1979 stepside

installed a dual battery system with a smart voltage relay but the resettable breakers turned out to be a mistake

truck started having electrical issues, got parked, and just sat. started to gather parts, Aces fuel injection, K5 fuel tank, a set of 37's on beadlocks, 4.56 gears, lockers, crossover steering, ordered a DIY4X A-Bomb bumper before he closed, shackle flip, crossmember and other bits and pieces from ORD Design, a newer steering column as this one is jacked.

then in October last year I picked up a parts truck with one tons, H1 beadlocks, 37's, DIY4X aluminum dash, shackle flip, front hanger/body mounts, 12K hydraulic winch, 12K electric winch, new fuel tanks, a ton of extra steel. dana 60 with 4.10's and open and a 14BFF with 3.73's and open

it sat around since then as i tried to figure out what I wanted to do with it, also sold the hydraulic winch and fuel tanks.
