Taillight molding screw sleeve?

These sleeves are on my original taillight moldings. Don't know what they are called or where to find them. Seems like they either keep the screw from bottoming too far and/or the flange keeps from distorting the flimsy molding holes. Ideas?

I've checked Classic parts, LMC, the filling Station (who list most items that are available at all) and Classic Heartbeat and no go.

Check out Topeco Products. I believe they have an online catalog. And all sorts of automotive related products. They have a shop in National City, Ca Screws and such

Thanks, but looks like they're closed. I thought my local Ace would have them. They have every weird nut, bolt, and screw imaginable. No dice. I'll refurbish the old ones.

Re: Taillight molding screw sleeve?

I think you can find the pdf copy of the Au-Ve-Co products catalog. This is the product line that the defunct company sold. The web site for this I found was
Miamicorp.com Hope this helps. The catalog has tons of items.

How about flairing a piece of tubing and experimenting with the length?

Re: Taillight molding screw sleeve?

Thanks for the suggestions. They cleaned up nicely with little effort. Soaked them in CLR overnight and used steel wool. I think they're a good idea for the bezels.
