Control arm bump stop rubber

Just posting this as a tip so nobody else has to struggle like I did. Was doing ball joints and noticed I had no lower control arm bump stops. No amount of boiling water, microwaving, screwdrivers, etc would force the NOS GM bump stops in that slot.
The secret was to take the spring out, soak the bump stop with silicone grease, jack up the lower control arm, and use the jack pressure to force the bump stop tab in its slot.
The uppers are easy. You can replace those with the suspension fully assembled. Jack up the lower control arm to give enough space to slide the (lubed) upper bump stop loosely in its groove. Slowly
let down the jack and the spring pressure will push the bump stop most of the way into its groove. Since the tab is easily accessible to grab and pull on with the upper control arm, use pliers wrapped in a towel or protective barrier to pull the tab the rest of the way through.
