Howdy All! New Guy In Town.....
First off, I just want to say howdy to all on this great board. I’ve been lurking in the background for a month or so, and finally got authorization to post.
I picked up a ’82 K30 dually flatbed and I’m going to fix it up for dragging antique tractors to tractor shows, and I have a couple of questions for you. First, where is a GOOD place to get interior parts? I’m looking for an instrument cluster circuit board, possibly the whole panel minus gauges and also a dash bezel. I’m quite familiar with Ebay, but sometimes the descriptions can be a LITTLE misleading. Any ideas? Second are door panels and a dash pad or cover. I’ve looked at most of the websites, but I don’t know who has quality parts at reasonable prices vs Off-Shore (PC, right?) junk. I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions and maybe an opinion or two, just give me some time to roll around under the truck! Ben |

Since my last name is odd (Dodge), and since I have been harassed by many since I drive a Chevy, is your real last name Dover?
If it is, that is cool, if not...it isn't too late to change your SN. As far as your questions, I would check the dealer first. If they cannot help, Year One, Golden State, and Classic Industries seem to carry good quality parts. I personally would stay away from Cheyenne Pickup Parts and LMC...it is a 50/50 shot with those two. Welcome to the board!

Guys,
Thanks for the welcome, I hope you still feel that way in a year! I’ve already ordered up catalogs from Year1, Golden State, Classic Industries, LMC and Cheyenne. A little comparison shopping in the “office” should keep me out of the families hair! Bigblock, I checked with the local dealer, and he told me to check online first. I hope he isn’t relying on a bonus check for an increase in sales (grin). BlueBeard, I’ll get ‘em back, don’t worry! GChemest, If she bends over, she might not get back up. I spent 15 minutes going thru all your links (grin), ain’t cut-and-past great? Thanks again, Ben |
