quad to dual from shocks

Hello all,

CHasing a bounce and just installed quad SX8000 Nitrogen shocks. Honestly they feel too much. I might try singles using the longer or maybe going back to hyd shocks.

the truck is 95% highway. camping, fishing skiing etc. No crazy offroad.

When swapping to singles in the front, did you;
Omit the short shock? if yes,
did you use a spacer in place of the shock?
did you move the long shock to that spot?
Did you remove the long shock?

THanks,
Chris

Factory single shock was the furthermost towards the rear. Change out to a shorter lower bolt

I am running that one now and it made a difference,, Quad nitrogen was to much for the highway i guess.

I did find out one of my Falkens is out of round. It is now my spare. I am a little disappointed in the tires..

New they road great, at 30k they feel off. Always rotated and balanced. Two tires have a split between the tread but since it is not to the metal belts, No warranty.

The most this truck has seen is Forest Service roads and kept in a climate controlled Garage.
