Venting............

Not to ***** (ok, I am), but there are times I get incredibly frustrated. I have bought parts from two members that I never recieved any parts from ($205 total) and I have someone who put a deposit on a truck I had for sale and won't come and get it (main reason for selling it was to get it out of the yard so I could get back in good graces with the other half, plus the money wouldn't hurt either). It's like these people have fell off the face of the earth. I have had a few minor problems with ebay, but they have been taken care of. I usually try to buy from someone who has a good reputation on the board, but that can be hard to do. I bought stuff from people that have had quite a few posts, but seems like they have fallen off of the face of the earth. They will not respond to e-mails or PM's. A few weeks is understandable. A few months (and the one is about 6 or7) is absolutely ridiculous. Ok, you can't send the part. Send my money back. It's that simple. I get so sick of excuses for these people. Another week and I will publicly put their names up, Not to mention, I will go out of my way to make a point. I travel quite a bit for business and I have been known to make personal appearances (and trust me, I'm not too friendly if this happens). I feel like people get ripped off way to often and I like to prove my point when I can. So please, if you are one of these people, please finish your deals so I can quit *****ing.............

venting....

I have had mostly positive experiences with people on this board. Most are upstanding citizens. It's always the few that have to ruin it for everyone...................

Weeks & months???

You shouldn't be waiting over a few days for parts---not weeks & no way months.
People: Don't sell it, if you can't get it shipped...and don't try to buy it, if you can't pay for it!!!
Now, buy all you parts from me and save all the worry!

I'm with ya Brian, I got a list of stuff here, guys say they want it and I tell them shipping price and are supposed to be sending money but it doesn't come. I got about 10 guys on my list now and its frustrating. I hold stuff for guys I feel I can trust and don't mind doing it but its the guys that won't reply to your pm's after they say they want something that drives me crazy. On that other deal if I don't here from Fed Ex soon, I'll just take care of you and I'll wait on them. Good luck, Thanks Randy

I'm thinking some people better get their **** together on this matter. It's never a good idea to leave a fella on simmering on a back burner too long, it doesn't matter how much of a nice guy you've been in the past.

I would try one last thing.
Send each fellow an e-mail and a PM.
It just needs to say somthing like . . . . . . .
"I'm giving you fair warning. If you dont cantact me and make arrangements to clear this up ASAP, I'll post your name on the board".
And then give them 4 or 5 days to respond.
If nothing.
POST EM' HERE!!!
(And I'll put em' on my list of "Do not buy from")

Darren

venting..........

Randy's theory is what makes him a great vendor. Being a business owner, I always treat customers well. It's all about the customer service. As far as truck parts, I have shipped people replacement items or refunded their money if they are not happy with what they get. No questions asked. Maybe I'm too nice. I have 100% feedback on ebay for a reason. But, not everyone has this theory. I mailed some letters out last night, giving these people the benfit of the doubt that maybe their computers are down or something, but if I don't hear back in a week, I will post their names. I already tried the e-mail and PM thing. Didn't work. It will all work out in the end..................

It does make it look bad for everyone. There are lots of transactions that go smoothly, that You never here about.I prefer buying from board members. So far so good! I think after a couple weeks, let alone a couple months,it is fair to post the names to keep others from being screwwed.

Post them,, we do have a review board for that sort of thing,, and it will give them a chance to respond,, nothing wrong with that... and if they have done this to several board members,, Josh can ban them... I have done business with Randy and will do again and again,,, once you make a commitment,, its only common curtisey to full fill it, and a honorable thing to do... why ruin your reputation for a little bit of money..??? I look my kids in the eye every day, because I do business that way..... and only that way.
