ignition stuff?

what is a good performace one to get?

i was planning on getting:

MSD Pro-Billet Street
6AL ignition box
blaster2 coil

but to cut some costs back, so i can get the motor running faster, i think it would be best to go with a regular HEI probably, and get the 6AL box later on.

which distributor would be good for under $200?

If you're planning on upgrading later anyhow, why not clean up the one off of your 305 and save the $200 for what you really want?

you should be fine with a standard HEI. since you dont have anything totally radical, it should produce enough voltage. the 6AL box could also be a good upgrade with all of the features it offers. Joe, his stock HEI wont work because he is eliminating the ESC system, just like i did.
