need drivesahft help...
working on a 72 swb4x4 i replaced the bad 700r/205 for a 350/205 so i need to cut-lenghten the driveshafts..
how much space do i need to have to the end of the slip yoke to the driveshaft end,when installed?? (hope that makes sense) this truck has a 8inch lift,will be running 36.5. thanks jamie

The best thing to do is to have your lift installedand driveline finished.Place the truck on level ground and measure from yoke to yoke.Give this to the driveshaft shop,they should know how much of the splines should be inserted.
