winsheild ???'s (casey)
i need a windsheild for the 67, what should i expect to pay for one new? and also does anyone local have one they want to part with? obviously no cracks

geez i hope that i dont have to pay more then 250 tops cdn! i have rubber allready, i got a buddy that has 2 but doesnt wanna sell his other one. might have to do some sweet talking....thanks for the ballpark figure guys

Jostrans68- I had mine done by Safelite. They suggested I buy my rubber seal from Frank (PICKMUP). He is located in Olympia and a great guy! He has worked with Safelite here in Oly to get the best windsheild seal. He also got me a little discount. Also I took it into the shop so that a mobile guy didn't have to come work on it (I guess these windsheilds can be a bear to install!) I think I was out the door under $200 and I got a lifetime warranty for leaks! Frank says they stand by that warrenty too! Franks number is 360-956-7170 I think (off the top of my head)- Hope that helps-

Cripes....guess I did well. I scored a factory tinted Soft Ray windshield from the local junkyard for $50. It was already taken out of a rig and on the front seat waiting to be taken home. No cracks, fogging, etc.

Safelite is nation wide, here we sell the windshield for 120.00 gasket 35.00 and install for 50.00.
