FS: '69 LWB Complete, AZ

Christ I hate to do this. It's my first 67-72, but I need the cash, and I can't have something that I can't drive. I'm seriously having a hard time typing this but here goes:

For sale:

'69 LWB.
6 Cylinder
3 on the tree
Complete truck minus tailgate. Runs, drives (although doesn't clear AZ smog, probably would with some tuning) Needs some things here & there, but it works. I just put in a new thermostat, but thats about it.

I originally bought it from Charlie Coleman, who bought it from 69Suburban here on the list. Apparently it came from Wisconsin or Wyoming or something. Big fiasco there, and I still owe Charlie money on the whole deal, hence why I'm selling it. I'm not gonna float it on Charlie any longer, not fair to him at all, plus I need something I can drive every day, and a '69 that can't be plated w/o clearing smog ain't gonna cut it.

When I bought the truck it was bought with the understanding that the tranny was bad. I took it out, put it back into gear and had it going down the road in a few hours.

Has some minor rust in the usual areas, rockers, floor pans and passenger fender under battery tray. Truck's pretty dang straight. Doors have holes for 6's or something. Seat isn't factory I think, but it was recovered in the past 5 years I'd say by its condition.

It does have aftermarket A/c and a chrome valve cover.

I can provide pics to those who are serious -- no tire kickers please -- and if you want to come out and see it, let me know. I'm located in N. Scottsdale, nearby the 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright.

$1000 obo. I'll consider a trade if it runs & drives. Send PM's please.
