rotisserie
Has anyone ever made a rotisserie for their Blazer tub?
I've seen them for cars, pickup cabs and jeeps before. I need some ideas on engineering one. Davy

Someone over on CK5.com was looking for one/info on one. Do a search in the 69-72 Blazer section.

Much like a BBQ rotisserie, its a frame that you bolt the tub to that will allow you to roll it all the way over so you can work on the bottom and all sides.
I see them on classic car restortion shows all the time. Stacy on TRUCKS put his Ford Bronco on one so they could media blast and paint the entire tub.

Thanks bouncy. Those give me some ideas.
What do you think a raw tub weighs? Where would you clamp the rotisserie to the tub? Davy

Don't know what they weigh, but I'd figure a way to use some of the exhisting bolt holes in the fire wall and maybe the rear body mount locations to hold it in place.

After I did this to my Jimmy body I was thinking it would be pretty easy to make a rotisserie for pu cabs.

Just remember when you go to flip it over.......more than likely it will be top heavy.......
