What's the best way to buff scratches out of a side window glass? My truck has some real small scratches in about a 6X6 inch area on my driver's side window

Lots of places sell glass polishing kits. I looked into it a while back, and this site caught my eye...instructions and what not for how to do it...

Seems to be pretty self-explainatory given the right tools.
