Free- Rod knock 292

I have the original 292 out of my '69 that I want to get rid of for free. It is complete from air cleaner to oil pan but has a rod knock (it still turns over). It doesn't have power steering or AC parts.
thanks
brad

How do you get 415 torque out of that 292?

I am not certain, but if you post a thread on the engine and drivetrain section, I am sure someone can tell you.

What air cleaner is on it? Any idea what year the engine is ?I would like the aircleaner ,I have the offset one for power brakes I would like the one straight off the carb. Also I need the heat stove ,little metal plate mounts on the manifold.

Maan, if you weren't 8 hours from me I would come and get it.

I can't seem to find on in the entire state of MN for a decent price.

70- the aircleaner is for a single barrel carb. The snorkel part is sawed off to only a few inches. I don't think this engine has any of the stove parts; I will check tomorrow. Also, it is a '69.
