I believe these are the 67-68 variety, correct me if I am wrong. Just used a wire wheel to get the crud off. Good condition. First 150usd +shipping gets them.

I dont know what you were doing wrong, I just copied the picture to a file and used the browse to upload it here.
And yes they are the early style hooks.
