Can all you folks with lifted Blazers post pictures of your trucks? Please state tire size and total lift, including body lifts if applicable. I am trying to determine what would be the best lift/tire combo. for what I plan on doing. Thanks in advance!

3" body lift and 4" suspension lift, 31x10.5x15 tires on 15x8 wheels. rode real rough. the suspenion is gone now, the body lift will be gone soon.

Thanks for the replies! You fellows with the 4" lifts and the 35" tires have any rubs when off roading? MJN, I'm considering the Skyjacker 4" lift. How does it ride? Are you happy with it? By the way, all are sweet trucks, congratulations!

My first K/5 had the same combo. It road much smoother than my '69 does but I never took it off road to see if it rubbed. My '69 doesn't rub with the 6" lift. The PO did a little trimming though.

My 4" lift sags a little in rear. The front of tire to stock rear wheel well in the front is very close (2"+/-) I bet it would rub wheeling.

With 3.08 gears its a little slow. Plan to drop back a size or 2.

My Jimmy has 4" lift with springs all the way around and 35" BFG on 15x10 Centerline Pro Truck Wheels (now discontinued) with 3.5" backspacing. I can jam the tire into both the front and back of fender if I really get it twisted up. I does not rub on the springs. I plan on switching to 8 lug 16" rims and 315 75 16 BFG's at some point and will go to 4" backspacing for a little more clearance on the point at the front of the front fender. No rub in the rear since I cut about 3/4" pie slice about 4" long off the front of the rear quarter. If you REALLY twist it up, you will be able to contact something even with 8" lift most likely. Cutting the fenders is ugly but the surest way to eliminate touching. The BFG's are taller than the 35" Baja Belteds or Ground Hawgs that I ran before. That is what neccesitated trimming the rear fenders. I actually think it looks better now that the wheel well is round instead of hooked in at the front. When I replace my damaged front fender and repaint, I will look into modifying the boxed part of the front fender if I can keep the lines looking right. Check out the pics.

hey skid if it were me i'd go to the 6inch i've had both my 4x4 now has the skyjacker with rear springs, rides great and plenty of clearance the 4in is about the same money i think my 4in was ok rode great but only had 33's tried 35's and was too tight for my taste... thanks mac67 and thanks lil bro ya beat me to it.....btw if you do it definately spend the extra money and buy rear srings it makes a huge difference in ride!

im with bagged on that one , if i was starting over i would do the 6 , just that little extra bit for the same dough , and if i had the extra i would also do the rear springs , a world of difference
