New Carpet!!!

Hi Guys,

What is that rap or pad on that shifter for? I have seen it on a few trucks and was curiouse. My neighbor has a truck with that exact way of pad on it.

Thanks for all the kind words.

The carpet I got was from company called TrimParts off of Ebay. It was only 25bucks. It is a molded "work" truck carpet. It only goes about 5" under the front seats. It has some little patch carpets that covers up the sides under the seat. I will eventually put a rubber mat in the truck when I do the full restore, but for 25 bucks I couldnt be happier and it really looks better. I used spray adhesive I bought from Home Depot. It came with full instructions and required very little cutting.

The padding on the shifters is a throwback to my old 4wheeling days. We always padded our shifters so we didnt get too beat up from them whem 4wheeling. I have since taken it off.
