th400 price

is 200 a good price for a rebuilt th400 thats only been used to drive from new mexico back to oklahoma?

It cost me $432 to have mine completely gutted and rebuilt with all new parts and a new TC for a diesel!

Hmm Thats fair i suppose friend of mine did a basic rebuild on mine it had some smoked clutches and i think the high gear band had alot of wear on it im just runnin a gas engine thou.

But that price did include a new heavy duty 6 bolt convertor

sounds like a steal i was quoted like $500 for one with a new torque converter but thats without a core if i converted the truck to automatic on the 76
