72 Chevy Stepside[br]

blinkers in bumper and side fender work when headlights are off. Turn headlights on and both blinkers in the dash light up and blinkers will not blink. Is this a ground or wrong bulb problem?

Also doesn't front bumper blinker use double filament bulb and one side is supposed to stay on(driving light) and other filament blink when blinkers engaged and headlights are on ?

yes the front parking lamps are #1157 dual filament bulbs
i'd check the bulbs to make sure you have the proper ones then the ground s
