Can I paint my new dash pad ?
I bought a new dash pad if I went to a paint shop and have interior paint mixed would it last/ stick ?

It would probably not stick. Vinyl releases fumes over many many years. Those fumes will make the paint bubble.
What you need is a vinyl dye. |

I bought some vinyl paint a few years ago (black) for my headliner. It worked great.

if you already have a new one why not just pick up some vinyl and rewrap it? shouldn't be hard... i know. famous last words!

what color is the pad now and what color do you want it to be??
if you're goig from a light like saddle to a darker like black you shouldn't have any problems with the spray can vinaldye sold at most autoparts stores and also at wallyworld

I've also used vinyl dye in a spray can , and was yery happy with the results.
I think I got it from Paddock's

You can also get a vinyl prep for it. Wipe with the prep, then spray with the dye. The spray dye works great. If you have any other color than black, thats were you are going to run into problems trying to match a factory color.
There are vendors selling the factory color matched dash pads brand new... Rick H...

I went to Sherwin Wiliams and had them mix up some paint and Dye. It turned out awesome.

It's Light Grey. I dont have a Digi Camera But I will post lots of pics when I get ahold of one. I still need to finish the body work and shoot the paint.
