GMC Tailgate on Ebay
I put my GMC tailgate on ebay today if anyone is interested.
I will split the shipping cost on it for any board member. Ebay link

I'm not real sure yet because it is very heavy, but it is one of the best tailgates I've seen.
I wish I had it when I was restoring my 72.

Is there any rusted through areas? Can you ship to Canada?

Greyhound bus will take anything shorter than 82 inches and less than 100lbs. They are pretty reasonable with big stuff like that too. Example, I just checked shipping for 2 bucket seats from Louisiana to California, and www.shipgreyhound.com was 53, and www.UPS.com was 107.

No rusted through areas. There is a couple of areas of surface rust and the worst area is pitted a little.
I will ship to Canada. It would probably be truck freight, or maybe Greyhound.

I just shipped a tailgate using UPS ground. The gate is less than 60lbs. I think mine weighed about 54lbs less packing. Anyway, if you keep the lenght of the box/crate less than 70 inches the shipping is not too bad. Check out the UPS site for rates.
