van tilt lever???
Is it possible to use a straight column shift lever on a van tilt?

A gear lever from a non tilt onto a tilt?
Not quite sure if that's what you mean, if so, then no you can't do it. |

Yeah, i wanted to put a non tilt shift lever on my van tilt, but i guess it won't work, any idea where i can find a van tilt lever?

David, sorry I thought you was talking about the tilt lever itself. I have a few shifter levers here but not sure if they are tilt levers. They sell them in reproduction.

You have a choice of two tilt lever's that I know of. There is a short van tilt lever and a longer truck tilt lever that is very similar in appearance to the non tilt truck lever. The earlier van tilts came with the longer levers. I am pretty sure that GMC Pauls sells the longer shift lever.
If you try to buy a used one make sure that the tip is not worn to bad, other wise it will not hold in the detent. Jim |

I bought my van tilt shift lever new at the dealer. It's the original truck one that's hard to find.
