Please don't beat me up

Has anyone ever seen a fox body mustang style cowl hood on a 69-72? Everyone has the Z28 style cowl and I was looking for something different. I really think the cowl design would compliment the trucks body lines. I was going to try and make my own out of an old hood I have, just wanted to see if it had been done before. Pictures please!

P.S. Don't think I am a big fan of cross-breeding

i'd like to see something like a 69 firebird or a newer style ram air hood. i found one site that sells fiberglass ones but didn't really like that idea.

Hmm, asking about different style hood scoops to put on 67-72 trucks, this seems like the right place....

I don't follow you Joey. The cowl induction hood was a GM thing from the beginning. Any Mustang with a cowl hood is copying GM, not the other way around.

I found this picture on this board but with the bug defector and bull bar its kinda hard to get the full experience. Its close to a mustang cowl but not quite the same.

maybe someone can do some photoshop work and come up with some prototypes.... a shaker hood like on the cudas and challengers might work also...
