i want more power any suggestions.

i have an 87 4x4 with 350tbi and i want more power.i don`t want to spend alot of money because my budget is only $1500.can anyone suggest a few things in this price range to help me gain more horsepower.thanks.

Vortec heads and a GMPP intake. free flowing exhaust, and a good tuneup.

the truck runs great i just want more power.my uncle owns a cylinder head shop i wonder if he can do something for me.the truck has duel exhaust with magnaflows and i was thinking about a set of headers.

what size is the pipe? and is it a true dual setup? or california duals?

it`s a 2 1/2 inch exhaust that i had put on at a muffler shop.

Vortec heads, and a cam upgrade, along with the intake and the tuneup stuff, you should be good to go. might have to have a chip burned for it, but that shouldnt cost much.
