Defroster won't come one!
I replace all the ac and heater hoses under the dash that I got from Randy (teeitup) and put on new cavbles I got from LMC.
My problem is that now air only comes out of the ac balls and the center vent, but nothing out of the defoster ports on the dash. I hooked up everything on the diagram, but still nothing. Am I missing someting somewhere. Is vacme involved in here some where? I have two vacume hoses hooked up to the top of the controller. Thanks for the help! Ron

I removed it and it seemed to work properly. The lever on the outside moved it back & forth on the inside.

The diverter box door is moved by the cable attached to it. The vacuum has nothing to do with the door operation. I would check the levers and cables.

I just converted my non-AC truck to AC so the following goes for both:
The center part of the heater duct system, the part where the heater blows out on your feet and blows up through tubes to your defroster vents is identical between ac and non-ac trucks. I have two of these. One from the AC donor truck, and the original one from my non-AC cab. On both pieces the diverter in there is "sticky". It is so sticky that when I put a new defrost lever in my donor ac heater control head and hooked it up I broke about a week later. To make a long story short make sure that when you move the defrost lever you can see the cable and diverter arm move on that center piece. You can see this from the driver's seat. I'm betting you busted the defroster arm in the control head and your diverter is stuck in the up position (up = air down and out the heater). Is air coming out down there and the ac diverter balls? If so you can flip this arm manually until you get the new arm ordered and installed.
