yet another SCORE!
i went over and helped my neighbor put the cap on his '85 K10 today, as he was getting ready to load it up to haul some stuff to the dump. there were a set of BFG Mud Terrains in the back of the truck that we had to take out to put the cap on. i asked what they were off of, since i noticed they were on 5 lug rums, and his truck is 6. i guess a guy he works with gave them to him, and he really didnt want them. he was going to take them on his way to the dump and drop them off at a tire store on the way to the dump, to be recycled. i asked what he wanted for them, and he told me to take them. i'm now t he proud owner of a set of 35 x 12.50 x 15 BFG Mud Terrains.

they're not the greatest of tires, but i'm going to run the two best ones, and buy 2 new ones for the truck. then i'll keep one for a spare, and throw the fourth away. eventually they will all be replaced, but they will get me by for a while, and that will definitely make the hit on the ol wallet a little softer, so i can concentrate on other areas of the truck.

for $900, i could buy the Swamper TSLs that i really want, but i'll make due with 35 12.50 MTs for now, especially since they're free, and i may be driving the truck as my DD for a while.
