were in nj are you? i know of a guy with at least 10 of our style trucks he is in middle nj. i met him at englishtown one year, i bought a bed floor off of him. but this is like his second job... buying/selling/trading truck parts. he is a very nice guy to deal with. i have his card at home..... might be going home this weekend and could get it for you. just a word of advise...... before you put money down on it, go look at it first! i put money down on the floor and he said it was a very nice driver floor with only a couple of little dents, when i picked it up and saw it he had taken an old floor and put patch panels in it and then primered the whole floor so it wasnt so noticable. but for the price and the shape of my stock one i couldnt be to mad.
if you also find a really nice solid bed and dont want it or already have one let me know!! thanks Best of luck Rat

Could it be Gary Mullford??? He is in New Gretna. I have his number somewhere. Also, Scott H. had a decent bed for sale. I don't know if he still has it. It was listed on this board. Look for the post or I could give you his number. He is near Toms River.

Yea that was me buying the front end. I saw the bed from the outside, looked alright there. Didn't look inside. Don't know if Gary hands out pink cards or not, haven't talked to him in a while. Probably will now that I am building a truck. His number is 609-294-9459.
If not the guy you were talking about, give us his name also. You can never have too many options.

racewithem: in your profile it says something about a 72 racetruck.... were do you race it? i would be interested in seeing it.... plus if you have ever gone up to island dragway in great meadows nj on may 16 they are having a top truck challange.... hopefully mine will be ready to run by then...... but it would be cool to see some old trucks run, and it sounds like urs runs well Rat

We run at Walll Township Speedway. It is a 1/3 mile high banked circle track. I have the 3 truck. My brother in law has the 33 truck and his brother has the 46 truck. We run in a street stock truck class. I used to help my brother in law with his truck and then got my own. I ran 1 year and had a few heat wins. I didn't run last year, my brother in law ran a limited schedule with 3 feature wins and his brother missed the first race, had 5 feature wins and finished in 3rd, 6 points out. They as well as a lot of others are now running newer bodies on the 67-72 frames. I was going to change but for the amount of work involved decided to build a street truck instead and will run the older body. Don't know when I will make it up there this year though. I have never been to Great Meadows but if I can get away from work I will try to make it. Good luck if you make it.

I remember a few years ago when i wasn't into these trucks a guy who had a load of them all over a shop on rt.9 in new gretna. If thats the place then he is gone. I heard he moved to florida or something?

I know the place you mean. He used to have a lot of trucks there. Wondered what happened to him. Gary is back towards the campground, going off of Maple at the petting zoo, near the gunning club. He just had truck stuff around his house. No business. I will call him this week to see if he has anything.

LWB
I have two LWB, one with twin tanks, one with none. Both from Colorado, not rust free, but very good shape. The sides, rails and front panels are not rusted. The bed floor in the one has two or three small square rust spots back by the rear crossmember, just inside the gate. One has a gate, only fair, the other no gate. I'll have to inspect closer to give you a better description.
They are at a flea market this weekend. If they don't go, I'll get digital pics and learn how to post them. LILREDGMC |

Bed Pictures
Good news bad news. I have about 6 digital pictures of the two beds but seem to have a problem getting them to the web site Imagestation to then transfer to here. I've gone through the help deal, but no luck yet. I will give it another look after the brain cools off. I will have to get you better detail shots of any areas you have questions about. I have someone more computer literate stopping tomorrow to assist.
Sorry for the delay. |

Picture Help
I've tried to read the posts and follow the directions but I have reached my level of computer incompetence. Anyone want to accept the pics via email and post for me till I get it to go from this end? Definitely a lesson in humility. Give me the big hammer.
