Buy a blazer tank, then it straps on with two metal strap. 4 bolts hold the straps. once that's done, you have to mount fuel line down the side of the frame from the fuel pump to the fuel tank.
Do a search. there is pictures and more information here and on the other sites. |

Yes you do,,,
That's a great idea of making it yourself.. Look in the search, here or On Piston's board www.myoldtruck.com. or on Wes's board www.Classicheartbeat.com There is an article posted and it shows the pic. of fuelcellguy building an Aluminum tank. I think it even shows the mounted version.. I know somewhere here, there are plenty of PICs. of the tanks in position, and how they strap in/on.. Any of the Vendors that frequent the boards has the Straps to mount the tank with, along with the rubber insulators. I recommend ****************.com. He seems to have the best prices and he has a Board members only web page with special pricing. Be sure to document your build, and post the pics. here.. Just a suggestion, Since you're doing the build yourself,,, Build the fuel pump into the Fuel tank itself... Good Luck, and as I typed Take lots of pics. and keep us updated. Ron |

thanks for the info!
i plan on starting on the tank tomorrow! i don't think that i can afford to build in the pump right now but i would like to know what kind of pump would work and how muck it would cost.
