speedo cable?
does it make a difference on what kind of transmission you have as to what speedo cable is used or can i just use any cable?
where is the neatral safty switch located on a 465 trans

Any cable that fits, and has the right ends on it. (72 had a one year only end for the speedo side)
No safety switch on manuals back then, ppl were expected to depress the clutch before starting, now they make cars idiot proof...but the idiots just get dumber. rambling...sorry |

okay thanks for that much Andy, i meant the backup light switch, i have just had that automatic to long.

The backup light switch on the 465 is on the drivers side almost to the top toward the front. Follow the dark green wires down from the engine harness.
